1. Who we are

For the purposes of UK GDPR, FareBookings acts as a data controller for data collected via this website (e.g. the contact form), and as a data processor on behalf of operator clients for the passenger/booking data that flows through the FareBookings software.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us:

• Contact form / enquiries: name, company, email, phone number, and whatever you write in your message.
• Bookings made through the FareBookings widget: passenger name, phone number, pickup and drop-off locations (GPS), booking details, and payment information (handled by our payment provider — we don't store full card details ourselves).
• Driver app: driver location data, used to route and assign bookings.
• Cookies: see Section 6 below.

3. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

• To provide the booking/dispatch service (performance of a contract).
• To respond to enquiries and provide support (legitimate interest).
• To send renewal reminders for annual licenses (contract / legitimate interest — never marketing spam).
• For analytics or marketing cookies, only where you've given us consent via the cookie banner.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only where necessary to provide the service:

• PayPal and/or other payment processors, to handle payments.
• Cloudflare, for hosting security and performance.
• OneSignal, where push notifications are enabled for a client's app or website.
• Google (Analytics, Search Console, Calendar, Business Profile, Tag Manager), only for clients who've had these connected as part of a website/turnkey build, and only for analytics/marketing cookies where you've consented.

We don't sell personal data to anyone.

5. International transfers

Some of the providers listed above may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep your data protected to UK GDPR standards.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site, and — only with your consent, set via the cookie banner — analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading, or by using the banner controls when it reappears.

7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (e.g. financial records). Booking data is generally retained for as long as your account with us is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To request deletion specifically, use our data deletion form. For anything else, email info@farebookings.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

9. Images and AI-generated content

Some visuals on this site may be AI-generated or sourced from third-party stock/illustration libraries. No real individuals are depicted without consent, and any people shown in illustrative graphics are not real customers or drivers unless stated otherwise.
